Police have executed 15 search warrants since the beginning of a two week drug campaign called Operation Hyde. As part of the operative they also ran a two-day Dob in a Druggie campaign which resulted in a number of calls with information about the supply and trafficking of drugs. Detective Senior Sergeant Lauren Hill says during the two weeks police seized just under 2 & a half kgs of Cannabis, a quantity of Ecstasy, seven Cannabis plants and seeds,  and 15.5 grams of an as-yet unidentified white powder. Five people will appear in court on various drug and firearms-related charges, and a further seven have been issued with drug infringement notices.
